In 2008, Julian Chadwick started a  twitter account (@pdxjobs) to syndicate good & interesting jobs friends and I found across the internet. Luckily, we live a great community here in Portland and many people have helped. From the beginning, other PDXers were sending me jobs to post. KGW even had me/@pdxjobs on “Live at 7″ to help people find jobs.

Who is Portland Twitter Jobs?
This site is managed by two of the top sites in Portland–Julian Chadwick of PDX Pipeline and Kyle Ritter of Barfly.

Why Use Portland Twitter Jobs?
The pdxjobs account has over 5,000 followers (December 2009). While there are many job listing sites out there, our site connects users who are more fluent with the internet and social media than the general public looking at mass listings. As an employer, you can cut down on the hours of unqualified responses to your listings. As a job aplicant, you know that these employers are taking the extra steps to find qualified candidates.

Because jobs range a great deal, I created a few others that cater only to certain fields. They aren’t quite running yet but, they will within a week so follow them if you are looking for jobs in these fields
